Q. What happens if I want to take a gap year?

A. Taking a gap year is fine by us – use your time to your advantage and draw from your experiences. We recruit two years in advance, so apply as far ahead as you can. Our assessment days happen in August two years before you’re due to start – so if you’re invited to come along, make sure you’re around to do so. Q. Do you offer paralegal vacancies?

A. All of our paralegal vacancies are advertised online. You can apply for specific vacancies or register to submit an application on a speculative basis.

Q. How do I apply for a summer placement?

A. You can apply online for a summer vacation placement with us. Applications for 2012 open 8 November 2011 and close 31 January 2012.

Q. How do I apply for a training contract?

A. You can apply online for a training contract commencing in September 2014. Applications open 8 November 2011 and close 31 July 2012.

Q. Do you offer a maintenance grant?

A. Yes, but we’re only able to offer it to those who are yet to start their LPC.

Q. How much money is the grant?

A. We offer £5000 to trainees at our Northern offices and £7000 to trainees at our London offices.

Q. Will I receive the maintenance grant?

A. You’ll receive the grant if you’ve been offered a training contract prior to the commencement of your LPC. Every applicant will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
